WELCOME

Hi, and welcome to the Cowhorse Videography blog!

The name is new, the face behind it is not. (Don't be rude!)

I started webcasting back in 2008, and have continued to webcast and video working horse events since.

My philosophy then, as now, was to use the power of video to promote equine events and disciplines. My work has always been free to watch, and as far as replays go, will stay that way.

I'd like to think that if I've achieved nothing else to date, I've shown the industries concerned that their members could, and should, be offered more at no extra cost to them, and maybe a few other sites have lifted their games also.

Anyway, new name, new site (Thanks to Caroline from http://cowhorse.com.au/), but the same drive to promote equine sports in the best way I know, by harnessing the power of video and webcasting.

Cheers for now

Neil

Day 1 - Central Hope Cutters - Harden NSW

Great day weatherwise, good cattle, terrific atmosphere.
The Snafflebit saw Andrew Petch on Misstriffic with a score of 73, triumph over Jeremy Whittey on Calcutta Star (72), Paul Agostino on El Nino Star (70, and a very enthusiastic newcomer in Carol Wild on Deluxe Olena (68)

The Australian Performance Horse Magazine $3500 Novice was taken out by Richard Webb on Too Special (73.5), from Denise MacCallum-Campey on Giovannis Simpatico (73), and Richard Webb again on Mycatsa Diva(71)

Chance Lodge came on board as sponsors for all of the Non Pro events at this show, and the Chance Lodge Novice Non Pro was taken out by John Farnham on Giovannis Simpatico (72.5), from Peter Gray aboard Isacatin Rosie ( 72), and Micheal Bell on One Moore Minnie Me, along with Ray Holden on Erins Crackin Jewel shared 3 & 4 with 71 points each.

The Chance Lodge $10000 Non Pro Saw Peter Gray on Isacatin Rosie take the ribbon on a 72, from John Farnham on Giovannis Simpatico (71), and Micheal Neil aboard Stylish Rooster on 70. This event also saw Peter Gray aboard Iscotalittlecheeky perform what would have been a perfect flying change in reining circles, only it was on cattle. Nice Try Peter!

Dodge Lamey placed 1st and 2nd in the Open, on Cassidy Oak (74) and Striking Distance (72), from Richard Webb on Pride of Lawson with 71.

Another day tomorrow, will probably post results on Monday, as it will be a quick escape and an overdue trip home tomorrow!

Cheers
For Now
Neil
